Known IT glitch (at least during past 36 hours). Not sure if its been fixed yet, but got an email about it internally yesterday

Booked a ticket about 10hrs ago.
I only got "we are processing email"
it is my first time not receiving ticketing confirmation email.

This is a regular occurrence for me. Always get the email informing me it is being processed. I check on-line as to whether it was ticketed. Sometimes I get the email once ticketed, sometimes not. If I want the email confirmation I request it. I actually check my flights on a fairly regular basis on-line due to schedule changes.

Just had this happen twice more in the last 24 hours. I booked a new ticket and cancelled an existing ticket. Only got the email that "We are processing...". Never got the ticketing email or the email that I cancelled and refunded a reservation.

What the heck could they possibly have changed that broke the emails going out I wonder?

Same here -- booked ticket and no E-mail received. I can see the receipt online (tickets were promptly issued), but when I request a receipt by E-mail, it never arrives. Tried this twice. Second time for me in the last 3-4 months this has occurred.

UA has some sort of bug, which it doesnt bother to fix, as this customer satisfaction problem has been recurring from time to time over the past several years (since Continental took over as I recall.) There seem to be periods of hours/days during which, no matter what you do, you will NOT receive an email itinerary summary. I bought a ticket on 3/8 or 3/9 and never received the confirmation, only the processing. Appears its still not fixed as I just tried again

yeah, 4 tickets yesterday, zero ETKT receipts ... had to request them all 1:1. Annoying.

Same here. No emails on 4 tickets over the last few days, and the manual (on-line) request to send doesn't work either.

That said, I have then tried again multiple times to different email domains I have - and strangely, @gmail worked, 2 of the others never did (one of which is my primary and has been the United email 'for ever'). Wonder if there is some bug with UA's filter or security that just isn't sending mail to certain email domains anymore; but that's just conjecture.... Very frustrating

Booked a paid and award ticket today. Just received the reservation processing email, but no confirmation email. Reservation seems confirmed on the site
