Went to check in for a flight and buy-up from Y to Polaris was $899. I opted to use miles to go Premium Plus. Then saw buy-up from PP to J became $1999.

Not trivial.

This has been the case every since they moved away from the Cowshead product to the new Sunday riley. It is too thick for the dispensers.

Just got a cup of tea at the UC in the E terminal and I put it in a paper cup so I could drink it at the gate. They don’t have any lids at all.

My gripe is that there are no longer ticket jackets. I have to make up my own. It's either an envelope or I look for a folded brochure among tourist pamphlets. I then stick receipts in them.

My gripe is that there are no longer printed timetables at the ticket counter to look at.

That the UA app reminds me I can choose an economy plus seat for free, while choosing a seat on a J ticket.

I used to like when we landed when the FA would say "On behalf of United, the star alliance, and your entire [city]-based flight crew we'd like to be the first to welcome you to..." Less and less do I get to hear where they are based, and I liked hearing that.
