Olympic skater Adam Rippon on FRA-SFO in J. Nearly picked the seat next to him during my IRROPS but a center 2 bulkhead opened when I was in FRA and snagged it.

I say allegedly. Do a google search.

Presumably she is global services ( comped) and a super VIP also, thus the escort.

Personally I have no problem with her flying First Class and getting the VIP escort, but kicking a paying passenger off the plane because the passenger has the seat you like is a bit much. Allegedly….

Joe Montana

I had Joe Montana on my flight from SFO to ORD a month ago. Was a big fan of his growing up so that was cool to see him. I however did not speak with him.

I think you made the right call getting those seats. Seats > seatmates

50 Cent in the LAX lounge, 7/30 PM. Very friendly to those who asked for a selfie, including my daughter.

Warren Haynes - Allman Brothers, Gov’t Mule, etc.
OMA-DEN UA 1879 Seat 3E. His seat mate is fellow Mule band member Danny Louis.

Both are very friendly and gracious with fans.

Not sure if this qualifies as a "celebrity," but UA President Scott Kirby was on UA 1564 yesterday, flying BOS-ORD. He chatted with the pilots before flight, and with the FAs in the rear galley after their service was done. He was seated in 3A, and spent most of the time on his iPad. I was elsewhere in F, but I think I was the only one in the cabin who recognized him.

As we were deplaning, I introduced myself as a long-time GS, and put in a good word to resume service to BKK, now that the 789 can do it non-stop from the west coast. All he would say is, "It's on our list to consider, thanks!"

Spotted Oscar at SFO on 9-28-18. He was surrounded by FA's. He spotted my 1K tag and yellow handle grip and asked if I was a 1K. I said yes and he thanked me for my business and also said I could now board in the pre-board groups.

I was leaving the GS lounge at SFO on 9/28 when Oscar was leaving as well to go through TSA. He had to go through the same TSA line as the rest of us, but he had a "handler" tag along. He was very nice and thanked me for my loyalty to United. I thanked him for sending me coffee last year. He actually looks skinnier in person than on the pre-departure videos!

He may have lost weight. If I'm not mistaken, those were filmed before his heart operation.
