Welcome to this thread to ask your basic, simple questions about United Airlines, its operations, or the MileagePlus program. We know that the airline is complex and we’ve created this thread for new and veteran members to ask those basic questions about United Airlines that you think must have an easy answer but just can’t find it or aren’t sure where to look.

I was briefly searching the forum for the answer unsuccessfully. I have had several boarding passes now issued by LH where I added my MP no to the reservation. It does recognize the MP no but every single BP says that I am a UA *P instead of *G. It really wouldn't bother me if I didn't have to switch Apps to show my digital MP card in order to get priotity boarding and Lounge access when flying coach. Is there any resolution for this (I had ONE BP where it was correct, so technically it should work, shouldn't it?)

No, it doesn't show any status with *A. BP clearly shows UA *P under status. Whereas my BP from the exact same flight LH413 from July (which was the ONE) shows UA *G.
I think ur asking bc of my FT status with LH. I do use my MP account though when flying internationally (for the *G benefits)

Anyone else having issues with united.com and Chrome? It says it loaded but I am looking at a blank page
https://www.united.com/en/us/ give me that, https://www.united.com/en/uk gives me an error message about the page not exisiting but but it also gives me links that will get me into to log in etc and then it works.
I did email customer care and waiting to hear.

The draw back to clearing cookies is a lot of my other log ins get messed up. Things other sites need to verify me vanish too. If it persists I will try clearing history and cookies. Just weird that I can go in a back door but not directly to the home page for the US

You can just delete your united cookies. With chrome, click the space next to http(s), then click the cookies, then remove everything in the list.

Cleared the history for all of Chrome but left cookies in tact, seems to have cured the problem. Thanks for all of the help. It was weird that united.com was the only site acting up so I figured it was them and not me.....

I booked an economy award trip for this December to Hawaii. My return trip takes me from HNL-OGG-ORD, and the HNL-OGG segment is operated by Hawaiian airlines.
If I make changes to my trip through Hawaiian airlines, would UA cancel the OGG-ORD portion of my trip? I'm considering either or both of
1. Purchasing F fare for HNL-OGG
2. Moving the HNL-OGG segment a day earlier

If i booked a United flight from EWR-OGG with Singapore miles on United, and United changes the flight times by a lot, are United agents able to rebook me on the EWR-HNL flight and then the HNL-OGG interisland flight, even if the interisland flight is flown by partner Hawaiian?
Whether yes or no, is United the one who can switch flights for me, or will I need to call Singapore to intervene. I've only had this happen in the past on AA booked through BA, and each time I had to have BA call AA to get them to open up space for the new flights. Not sure how it works in this situation as it's my first time booking UA with Singapore.

Any idea if Singapore has the ability to book a joint UA/HA ticket? Going to call SQ later today, but there's really no availability on United without someone opening up more saver space.
