2 broken 757s now in Stockholm
Passed thru passport control , in line for boarding UA 2834 and station manager said the plane, UA 68 that flew in from EWR this am is broken and a 2 hr delay while they tow the broken plane from 8/4 canceled flight to our gate and provision it. Why 2 hrs? The paperwork for the MX has not been signed of on back in the USA allowing it to fly. We are trapped here waiting for someone in USA to get up in the middle of the night and sign paperwork(?). FAs and pilots are here in waiting area.
i will opine that 8/5 UA69 ARN-EWR, which was at a 5 hr delay already, cancels due to MX.

Only 1 broken 757 in Stockholm now
We boarded UA 2738 expect to be airborne by noon local time, so almost 3 hour delay.
They towed the plane for today’s UA 69 back to the hanger.

Add this to the mix. Just got off UA 896 HKG to ORD. Nice flight, 15 min early. Flight was delayed on tarmac for 90 minutes due an inability to find an open gate. Got to gate at 3 pm.
I'm Global Services and have a 330 connection. Not that I expect too much from GS given the need to clear customs and then TSA again, but it was kind of humorous that the GS agent who met me at the gate handed me a boarding pass and said "you have Global Entry and Precheck. Run!"
Really? I needed GS to tell me that? Actually, they were very nice and rebooked me on the 550 connection...

My friend’s family are on UA120; oringinal departure time was 7:30 pm. The new departure is 10:30 pm. The plane left gate and then returned to fix mechanical problem. At 9:25 pm, pax are allowed to deplane!
Add: postponed to 11:30 pm. Cross fingers!
Delayed to Monday at 10:30 am due to crew; not cancelled, uh?
Monday UA121, BCN-EWR is cancelled; there will be two flights on Tuesday.

Stockholm struggles continue
The flight i was on today UA 2834 (which was the canceled 8/4 UA 69) arrived EWR 2 hr 37 min late on 8/5 and the 8/5 UA 69 canceled due to MX and is scheduled as UA 2804 departing at noon on 8/6 arriving EWR 3 hrs late at 2:45 pm.

Anyone know what happened with UA 891 on 8/4? Flight aware shows a diversion to HNL.

I was on that flight but didn't smell anything. It was reported only in the forward enonomy cabin. They were initally asking if any passenger brought any smelly food like durian... Anyone knows any probable cause?

8/6 UA 2804 ARN-EWR departure moved from 12 to 14:00 due to MX. 8/6 UA 69 ARN-EWR went out full ontime and UA 2804 seatmap shows only 40 of 169 seats occupied.

Last nights flight 120 Newark to Barcelona delayed 15+ hours. Now scheduled to leave this morning at 10:30am. As a result the return Barcelona to Newark today has cancelled.
