It's gonna be tough to compete in similar markets where DL and AA are flying 70/76 seaters or mainline.
And a reply to the tweet:

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. This is what makes me avoid flying United more than anything else.
10% of my flying this year has been on the Devil's Chariot.

And 20% on AS 100% of paid longhaul on UA, 100% of reward on TG.

Is there some reason why UA can't add E145s if they need to add smaller birds to cover particular routes? Using CR2s is bound to do only one thing...piss off loyal flyers.

Gee. CR2 Vs E145. Which one do I hate more? Such a difficult decision. 😁

The E145 has row 18 and single seats on one side of the plane...not even a contest.

Unless I'm guaranteed an empty middle, I would take any seat from 1A to 18A on an E45 over any mainline Y seat.

Plus if I plan right, I don't have to gate check my carryon @:-)

My educated guess is that CRJs were available without a time commitment (as stated several time on the big conference call IIRC), end 145s weren't.

do not see a replacement into mod scheduled at this time
Things may change, but 3-class 763 runs EWR-LHR only until 6/14. Also, each of three ORD-LHR are changing into 2-class 763 from 6/29, 9/8, and 9/27. Those dates are probably when 3-class 763 are leaving for mod one by one.

By the way, 772 mod is unfortunately very slow - almost two months already.

The article the tweet links to is from January. It's the 40 already announced, not 40 more.

Still, that's what, 100 or so for Air Wisconsin (or Wisconsin Air) alone

Not on Air Wisconsin, but my number one route is YYJ-SFO, and guess what ...... and yes, try to go via YVR or YYC every time I can @:-)

The author’s tweets linking back to recycled and dated articles are a bit misleading. That’s why it always pays to look for a date line... there’s no “news” here.

No more CRJs than have already been contemplated/added, nor are they staying any longer than initially planned.

39M had an IAH test hop on the 4th. WiFi testing and employee event from what I heard.

The new livery does look nice when pulled up to a jetbridge.
