United has reconfigured its 757-300 planes to increase density, primarily by adding non E+ seats (1 fewer E+ seats, 22 more E seats).
New Configuration
Boeing 757-300 (753)
24F 54E+ 156E
Post 165 assesses Seats 7DE (and 8ABC) (summary - watch out)
The armrest between 23 B/C and D/E is movable.
The inboard armrest on 23A & F is fixed and contains the tray table.

Hooray, densification.
The Chicago-based carrier will add 20 seats to the economy cabin on the aircraft for a total of 210 seats, a notice to pilots on 17 December viewed by FlightGlobal shows. First class will continue to have 24 seats.
United's reconfigured 757-300s will have 234 seats, up from 213 currently.

Lovely I did a connection with 739 on first leg in slimline and 753 on second leg with PMCO seats both in E- and the difference was night and day. The 753 felt noticeably roomer in the legroom space.

No. FAA requirements for flight attendant staffing are in blocks of 50. Anytime you go from 50 to 51, 200 to 201, etc you gen the requirement to add another F/A. Min staffing for this a/c would be five....and will stay at five.

The train left the station long time again. B753 was in the last carriage.
I do not like the densification of B772 from 9-seat in a row to 10-seat in a row. The narrow-body aircraft does not bother me much because of short flight time.

24F/210Y is identical to what Delta did on their slim 753 (75Y). I'm curious to see how UA moves around the cabin monuments to make the configuration work without losing a significant # of E+ seats, as DL has only 32, pitched at 34", on their 75Y.

Seatguru, for what it's worth, shows 31" pitch on all versions of UA's 757s. The 739s are 30-31".
