Extending GPUs ... wow!

Called last night to extend a couple of my expiring GPUs. They now show an expiration date of April 30, 2101!
Love the new extension policy ... I think I can use them sometime in the next 84 years!!!! :-)

Thats 84 years during which you still won’t find space available at booking for some destinations

This, and OP better hope science finds a way to extend his life beyond the norm, otherwise a corpse will have a hard time booking a ticket! This assumes the OP isn't very young currently.

It's scary to think that there is some kind of manual input process to roll these forward that would cause this kind of inversion/typo error. High tech.

Dang, I was only able to extend two to 04/30/2018. I better ask for compensation.

A UA programmer is now writing a simple code to find you:
if (year .gt. 2018) year = year - 83.
Your GPU expiring date will be fixed properly.

All of the newly minted 1Ks: "Hey, why do my GPUs expire in January 1936?!"

Simple solution - make sure your grandchildren have your MP login and they can apply these any time in the next century to their bookings.

Hopefully all the Polaris lounges will be open by the time this instrument expires.

Are UA agents required to give you some form of agent-ID on the call, when you ask them ?

This is the type of call where you'd like to remember the ID and later try to be connected to the same agent.
Not sure if thats possible either with a machine like UA though...

Never have heard of this being possible. Best for UA not to allow it also (an agent doing favors).
