My offer was 500 miles for checking one bag online. The terms state that website or mobile app are okay. However, I did that last Saturday and it still hasn’t shown up as being met. Strange, but I’ll give it a try again in a few days. The terms also state pay “if applicable” so I think the premier waiver shouldn’t be affecting it.

True, but it isn't enough of an incentive to actually book a trip. This ends up just being an added award for those who already have travel planned.

Most of these offers are too pathetic to justify taking an unnecessary trip (and I got a pretty lucrative offer). Therefore, United is not spurring new travel. It's simply rewarding people who would have taking trips anyway. Thus, wasting perks.

Mine was 14,000 miles for one economy trip at $350, which seems pretty decent. Problem is the trip I'm looking at, all the economy fares are too cheap. Can actually book first for $390 to meet the spend, but would that still count? Is it strictly economy or economy or better?

My reward for being 1K and $15k PQD, mostly on $600 one way ERJ full fare trips (usually B or M class), is no offer.
An associate of mine got 28,000 RDM offered if he takes a $450 Economy trip. He is Gold and usually is able to fly on cheaper fares than I.
Writing from seat 20A with no recline on an M fare bought 3 weeks in advance.
