Does United give MP credit for Deutsche Bahn-operated LH flight numbers?

Booked on 016 ticket stock an LH flight number operated by Deutsche Bahn.

Should I expect any MP credit at all?

No, there will be no mileage credit for these segments no matter if on 016- or 220-documents.

That's for flights operated by LH. This "flight" is to be operated by Deutsche Bahn. There is zer:( UA credit for such segments.

Out of curiosity, how did you book this ticket? I didn’t realize that Lufthansa Rail Express could be booked on 016 tickets.

We have another thread ongoing about the new Rail&fly partnership between United and Deutsche Bahn. Different approach to those tickets, however.

I booked a CGN-PDX Lufthansa fare, plated on United 016 stock (or whatever way that CGN and QKL are treated as co-terminals). The fare was cheaper than from FRA.

United let me book it since the return half of the ticket had some United flights.

Just be careful not mixing those things up:

Rail & fly is a service offered by Deutsche Bahn which allows you to use the train to get to the airport/ get from the airport to any train station within Germany (and some at the border) after/ before your flight (example: you can arrive in Fra and take the train to Berlin).
The fixed price for this is 33Eur (second class).
You do not get any miles for this.
When you want this you need to enter QYG as your destination (German Railway Station).

The second thing is LH flight operated by Deutsche Bahn (you get them between FRA and Stuttgart or Cologne). There is a code for the main train stations.
there is a flight attendant on board and those are official LH flight numbers.
You got miles for this in the past, but not anymore.

You’re correct in that the fixed price for a Rail&fly ticket is €33; however, that’s only if you’re buying the ticket through Lufthansa on 220 stock. United builds the Rail&fly ticket into its fare, requiring you to search for flights into or out of QYG on its website. United prices the fare differently than Lufthansa does.

Note that I did some research into United’s Rail&fly fares, which I shared in the thread linked to in my previous post. And, no miles for the Rail&fly ticket.

Not sure I have seen this before, but also not booked a paid ticket since 2A became a *A intermodal partner. My current ticket shows that the FRA-QFB segment is earning PQP and RDM, but no PQF (o.k. - not really a flight ;) ). This is a P-class 016 ticket with FRA-QFB being LH-coded

United will treat it like a Lufthansa flight for mileage credit purposes.

Then I wonder why it wouldn‘t a PQF. I remember before it wouldn’t earn anything. Will see how this credits, but trip is not for quite some time

Until post travel. the pre-travel earning report isn't gospel. Actual experience, yours or others, is a better guide.
