Farelock to ticketed but no CC charges?

Farelock to ticketed but no CC charges?

Hi All,

I'm in a strange spot here - I use the same method before and haven't had any issue.

- I used a 7 day farelock for an itin, was charged $8.99
- Ticketed the itin 6 days ago. farelock would've expired by now.
- The itin on .com show as ticketed and confirmed, with 016 eTicket number.
- No charges on my credit card, aside from FareLock
- Haven't received the "eTicket Itinerary and Receipt for Confirmation" follow up email
- When trying to look into "Reedem Upgrade", I get the "! We’re sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request"
- The reservation is multi-city and in different cabins

Do I call in to validate or just let it be?

Call CS and ask to speak with someone in dot com support. They should be able to help you.

I'm not concerned about the upgradeability.
I'm more concerned if it will be honored or not.

Do you by chance have airline partners on this ticket (i dont know if they can be farelocked).

FareLock is only offered on all-UA itineraries.

When and how FareLock is offered is irrelevant. OP is ticketed. His problem is that he hasn't been charged so it is an upaid ticket and at some point the system will identify it as that. Either the ticket will be cancelled for non-payment or it will show an add/collect which will be demanded at the airport.

I would call UA. You are correct that it won't escape notice in due course.

Did I mention anything about ability to upgrade? If there's a payment issue they can confirm that it was processed or not. Unless you're just coming here hoping that we will all tell you ignore it and hope you get a free ticket.

I called UA, ticket was out of sync, processed manually
