Why / When would you like to use a shower at a UA lounge / club?

Presently for UCs, only the C123 EWR UC has showers
All the Polaris lounges have showers
The SFO T2 MLL has showers

Reported the new DEN UC will have showers and showers will be introduced at hub UCs when remodeled

SFO definitely could use some showers.

hoping along with you for ORD showers, but why do I feel the chances are less at the new DEN club?

I would imagine an eventual renovation of the F/Rotunda club would include showers. No idea on timeline, though.

Guessing moderator error. I posted that in the fleet updates thread back in May (you can also tell by the post that I was quoting). Got a notification that it was moved to this thread today…Thinking it should have gone to the newly-created,dedicated thread about the ZW exit from UA’s fleet.

Can you take a screenshot of the email and post it on FT?

Meanwhile AA has showers at RDU, and Delta at MIA.

Can't imagine what UA was thinking when they closed them at their largest hubs.

They were SMI/J'd, like everything else in that era. Even had them scramble to remove the showers that were planned for the LAX UC that was being built.

Outside of security, there is an UA arrival lounge for travelers from trans-Pacific flights, and there is a paid-for shower facility in the international terminal.

FWIW, none of the US Red Carpet Clubs had a shower - it was a President's Club thing. So realistically, showers were removed from only EWR and IAH, or rather, converted into Polaris Lounges with showers.
