"you’re now eligible to earn x,xxx bonus miles by spending $yy,yyy in purchases (not including returns) on your United MileagePlus® ZZZZ card between October 1 and December 31, 2017."

The bonus miles and spend target are personalized.
Some have received offers requiring a number of uses instead of a $$ spend.

Requires having an MP branded Chase credit card and if you have multiple credit cards appears only one is targeted

This offer edges out IAH-OIL-TRASH for the second worst offer so far (which was 5k miles for 26.5k spend)!

My Premier Platinum card got 7500 miles for $23K spend. My 5K PQM bonus for $35K spend posted in August. But, I've done most of my major purchases for the year, so I don't think I'm going to make it.

I did a little math and discovered that my requirement is my average monthly spend times 4. In other words, they're trying to get me to spend 1 more months worth over the 3 months.

I checked both last year & ytd, and it's the same for both.

Mine was $3000 spend for 2500 miles. I hardly ever use the card.

Definitely the best offer reported so far. $1.20 to earn each mile.

Wow, I didn't think my offer was that great until I read through this thread and it looks like I have the new highest:

You’re now eligible to earn 5,000 bonus miles by spending $3,000 in purchases (not including returns) on your United MileagePlus® Explorer Card between October 1 and December 31, 2017.

This was on my explorer card that I haven't used for at least a year (choosing to use my CSR instead). I also tried my club card but it errored out.

I got 5k miles for $10k spend. I've spent about $10k on the card this year so far.

So, if I spend $15k I get that 5k bonus plus the annual 10k bonus (for spending $25k), plus the spend, which would total 30k miles for $15k spend. That's actually not too bad if I can do it with spend that doesn't otherwise get a bonus. I may give it a try.

Plus it'd give me the PQD waiver. I'm at about 21k PQM with my booked trips, but will be $500 PQD short. I could book a cheap 4k miles flight instead of having to spend ~$650 to get my $500 PQD. But even that might not be worth it for Silver.

1 of 3 cards works - 5000 miles for $12.5K spend. Maybe.

I'm not eligible :-(. To the person who got 30 transactions for 7,500 miles. Go to a vending machine and get 30 candy bars and/or sodas and enjoy the miles.

That is pretty much the plan - I typically prefer using my cash back cards than miles, but figured that $100 to $200 in small purchases was worth it for 7,500 miles.

"10,000 bonus miles by spending $50,000 in purchases (not including returns) on your United MileagePlus® Explorer Card between October 1 and December 31, 2017"

Not sure I will have that much spend in 3 months.
