"you’re now eligible to earn x,xxx bonus miles by spending $yy,yyy in purchases (not including returns) on your United MileagePlus® ZZZZ card between October 1 and December 31, 2017."

link

The bonus miles and spend target are personalized.
Some have received offers requiring a number of uses instead of a $$ spend.

Requires having an MP branded Chase credit card and if you have multiple credit cards appears only one is targeted

Pat89339 & brooks_87 have the new best offers now. Only $0.60 to earn each mile, the first offers reported to drop below $1.00.

you’re now eligible to earn 5,000 bonus miles by spending $3,000 in purchases (not including returns) on your United MileagePlus® Explorer Card between October 1 and December 31, 2017.1
I was hoping for the 30 transactions offer....

The card is in a drawer, I pretty much only use it for United flights these days. Eh, might happen, might not.

Zero offered for us....maybe they figured out that once we hit the 25K mark for the year we are not using the card unless it is to purchase UA tickets for a few auto pay deals....Rather get the cash back now from Citi/Costco at this point. Jan 1 we will go back to using UA/Chase to make sure at least one of us requalifies for some kind of Premier for 2019.

That is the best offer on the thread so far. If I spend exactly $7,000, I will have spent "only" $1.40/mile earned.

The only two posters with offers under $2/mile are mdobbins ($1.70) & Hipplewm ($1.65). The leader so far, with the worst offer, is kittiyut, at a whopping $6.67!!

Directing all additional spending to the MP card probably won't put us at $7,000.
I followed the link in the original post and got the same offer as you. So I took it. I do not receive those marketing emails. Did everyone else post what was in their email or did anyone else just go to the link?

'the information you entered isn't valid' for me.

i know that i got my 10k mile bonus on my personal MPE card in august, so i'm probably around $30k spend for the year.

i'm not bummed out, as i somehow never qualify for these things (not even a CLASSIFIED invite!)

I got $3000 for 5000 miles on my downgraded MileagePlus card. I think that's equal to getting 2.16 mile/$.

That happen for me when I entered the wrong card.

My offer was 2500 miles for $4500 spend, very lame.

I just completed an offer from SPG AMEX for 10,000 SPG points for $10,000 spend from Jul. 19 to Sept. 30, a much better deal.

I haven't received an email, but I clicked on the link, and the offer was 7,500 miles for $23,500 in spend. Unless I have some major expenditures, it isn't going to happen. But remember that whatever the bonus offered, this is on top of the regular earnings on the card, so the spend/mile figures quoted in several posts above are really moot. It's pure bonus.

It's an overall inferior earn to what I would get putting $30,500 in spend on other cards.

That's not true for me. 25k last year, 12k offer. Possible they use different multipliers?

Better yet, just reload Amazon balance 50c at a time.

So, if I spend $15k I get that 5k bonus plus the annual 10k bonus (for spending $25k), plus the spend, which would total 30k miles for $15k spend. That's actually not too bad if I can do it with spend that doesn't otherwise get a bonus. I may give it a try.

Plus it'd give me the PQD waiver. I'm at about 21k PQM with my booked trips, but will be $500 PQD short. I could book a cheap 4k miles flight instead of having to spend ~$650 to get my $500 PQD. But even that might not be worth it for Silver.
Well, Amex topped this offer for me. Got an email for 15k bonus when I spend $15k on my SPG Business card by 12/31. Can't see a way I can get $15k on both cards, so looks like Amex is the winner this round.
