Track My Bag - UA's bag tracking app
I was looking at my reservation for this weekend and noticed a new option. Under the Baggage Information is a new 'Track my bags (beta)". Unfortunately I won't be able to test it out, as this weekend is a MR so I'll be carry-on only.
Anyone have any experience with this feature?
I think I saw an update get installed yesterday, my app (android) is v2.1.24.
Cheers,

What it looks like, if anyone cares. (Each image is a clickable link with a full resolution version).
Judging by the times listed and personal recollection, it looks like the first record is indeed when it was checked (Playing it risky by checking a bag one minute before the 60 minute international baggage cutoff!) and the second record (arrival) is when they unload it from the plane I'm guessing (arrival to the belt occurred over twenty minutes after that, but the flight arrived at 8:38AM, and bags didn't arrive onto the belt until well after 9AM.) However, as an international flight, it's possible that the time represents the bag were tendered to customs, whereas for a domestic flight they might represent a scan just before being placed on the belt.

Cool, great to finally see something like this from UA!
I was able to pull up my bag from a trip this past weekend. It's not terribly detailed, just shows time of bag received and time arrived. If I remember correctly, other airlines (Delta maybe?) showed details like time on/off plane and such.
I attached some screenshots, hopefully they show up for folks.
Edit:removing screenshots since I was late

Finally!
I think AA is a similar level of detail as UA but Delta does provide additional Delta. They seem to scan it when dropped off, when loaded on the plane, when taken off the plane, and when put on the carousel (though that hasn't stopped them from misconnecting one of our bags this year despite a 3 hour connection in ATL to the last LHR flight of the night
)

It's nice to see that it shows the detail en route that the bag has made it aboard the plane.

"Baggage Claim: Check baggage monitors"
I think this could be improved
It would be nice if they simply listed every time it was scanned

Your links are to pages with the images and not directly to the images, which you may be able to fix (don't know if your site allows hotlinking) by putting:

They've been working on this for a while and it was supposed to be rolled out quite some time ago, but good to see it finally here. They are also planning to allow you to do things like enter bag delivery information for delayed baggage straight into the app. Not sure what their timeline is for this additional features.

It's good to see United finally offering some features that United offered years ago.
I remember a trip some time pre-merger (or maybe it was post-merger, but pre-combination of operations) where I was flying to ORD via DEN, and saw kiosks at baggage claim where you could check the status of your bags. Since my inbound flight at DEN arrived really late and I had a very short connection, I wasn't sure if my bag made it. I checked the kiosk, and it said my bag was still in Denver, and gave me an option right there to submit a claim/request delivery. I filled it out without having to see an agent, and was out of the airport before the first bags from my flight even started rolling around the carousel.
Shortly after that, those kiosks disappeared. And now, some years later, the feature has returned, in app form.
