I really wonder why they don't have PRG yet. Are they somehow being boxed out from operating there by SkyTeam?

Who knows? AA is starting PRG out of PHL, I don't see why UA couldn't enter in.

Looking at the arrival and departure times of the SFO-ZRH lights it must mean that the IAD-ZRH will switch to 788

Most of the 788s will be operating ex-IAD in 2018, so this makes sense.

Excellent news re: EWR-KEF. Wish they would have some frequency in the winter for the Northern Lights, but imagine that's a tough route given WOW! and Icelandair on the route.

Also nice to see another SFO-*A European hub flight. No love for LAX, as usual

Glad to see Transatlantic adds, notably two new UA destinations (KEF, OPO) as it was beginning to look like the bulk of secondary pmCO 757 markets such as OSL/BFS/BRS/CPH/CGN were falling by the wayside. I get that there is more to it (A++, BREXIT, etc), but with the additional 763s that came online during the merger, I expected more secondary adds rather than market exits.

Nice route adds, but I still find it interesting they are adding KEF with heavy LCC competition and dropped OSL and CPH, would be nice if those are re-added at some point.

LX does very well with SFO-ZRH (known as the "Roche coach").

Maybe UA will pull some of the corporate business on this route, but spending my own money I'd have a hard time picking the UA 788 over LX's 77W, at least in J. (And I don't even like LX.)

In addition to mentioned AA, Hainan and one of ME3 are flying to PRG, and of course SkyTeam KE.

Doesn't LH or one of it's affiliates also serve KEF in the summers? If so, I wonder if it would be possible to book through travel to continental Europe via KEF, sort of replicating FI's routing options? That would be an attractive option, at least in the westbound direction.
