Projected path may hit FL.

I am scheduled to fly to/from MCO later this week. Standing by for further development from weather folks and United.

If there is a silver lining, at least UA doesn't have a hub in the region.
Air Houston likes this.

Looks like they scheduled a rescue flight from SJU, #2760 to IAH to take people out since flights are cancelled after today. Kudos for them being proactive. Looks like AA also did the same.

2760-05 IAH-SJU flew out with extra pilots and loaded with humanitarian supplies
2761-05 SJU-IAH will return full as a revenue/evacuation section

that flight booked full since it was created earlier today...took about 3 hours

FL Added

Now have added some Florida airports. Sort of interesting how they're hedging, i.e. up to mid-state, both coasts.

Agreed, but I wound up in MIA because UA couldn't get me home out of S. America via IAH. Already getting texts to the effect that they might be begging off here...loads of fun...

Me too - sadly, TPA is already included in the Delta and American. United always waits to the last minute - pathetic.

Noticed that as I went to check-in for my AA flight tomorrow. Went to ua.com out of curiosity and noticed they are behind the pack. Even JetBlue and Southwest have their waivers up for TPA and MCO already...

Edit: wow - even Spirit and Frontier have waivers up for MCO and TPA. That is just sad...
