DELee - thanks for all of your updates so far, they are appreciated. Have you received anything new re: TPA? Their operational plan has to have changed by now. It looks like everything has been cancelled for Sun but wasn't sure what the plan for Mon and beyond is. I'm supposed to fly back on Thurs and hoping all is settled by then. The original posted plan showed TPA operating but obviously with the change in track that has changed.
Separately - it looks like UA added various flights to RSW/MCO/FLL today and is tweaking departure times on a couple of flights for tomorrow already. Nothing like seeing "Estimated departure 1 hour early"!

I noticed that the last flights today from MIA & FLL to DEN, ORD, and EWR all left with many many open seats. I thought flights were sold out???? I would have thought they would have departed full...

Finally a descent human language in the waver:
"For wholly rescheduled travel departing after November 15, 2017, or for a change in departure or destination city, the change fee will be waived, but a difference in fare may apply. Rescheduled travel must be completed within one year from the date when the ticket was issued."
Thank you United. Please do this from now on at the onset of the disaster and not after Department of Transportation starts looking at price gouging allegations.

Regardless, I'm glad they have it now. My flights are taken care of Thursday. Was it because I'm Platinum? I don't know. But know everyone will catch a break.

See the previous http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...fects-iah.html for a recent example
same wording http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/27142021-post9.html
Different phrasing, same policy http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...15-17-feb.html {2015}
Glad things worked out.
