2017 Promotion?
 
Would be nice if United would throw out some kind of promotion soon. IIRC didn't last years promo come out around this time? Maybe this time you can earn additional miles for domestic business class fares? Just throw us something...;)

Promotions are used to change behavior. Which consumers do you think should be targeted and what behavior changes do you think should be induced with the promos?

If people are buying tickets anyway, why should they?

If they are seeing 90-day softness in ex-Asia travel because of recent news events, I can see UA throwing something across the Pacific.

That seems to be where a lot of them were targeted in the past. I would take that also as I have some TPAC's later in the year.

like what? I hadnt seen any, when just booking 2 TATL trips for this summer..
