I reposted this adding a better header " UNITED AIRLINES KILLS THE EASTER BUNNY"
I hope that helps

The Media is really dragging out that Flight 3411 story. Poor United has really taken a PR beating over the past few weeks.

When asked for a comment, a Gate agent at O'Hare said the bunny was removed to make room for employee pets (Pilot Fish - Naucrates ductor). Unfortunately no United staff were available to help, so the Chicago Aviation police were called. Unfortunately they didn't carrot all for the bunny's wellbeing.

Too Soon?

The owner should have bought the online Therapy pet certificate and put the bunny in a stroller she needed on the plane. She could have put the bunny sleeping over three seats to keep any Honeymooners away. Hopefully the owner wouldn't mind being bumped and dragged off the plane by her Hare.....All tongue in cheeks folks.

... and the news media wonders why the public has lost respect for journalists.

This isn't completely fake news (although I'd love to know how one would spend $6K/mo on a freaking rabbit - caviar diet?) but it is about as yellow as you get and still call it 'journalism.' Yeah, my respect for journalists is now lower than for Congress.

Don't get me started. On any given day I feel like half the stories on CNN are either Kardashian related or just Reddit reposts.

But, RIP for the poor bunny and sympathies to his owners

The Yahoo story I posted above was a repost of of a People Magazine article. People Magazine is a major publication. Yet the article contained a whole paragraph that made no sense, referenced irrelevant information (Dr. DAO), and lacked any semblance of being written by a reporter and not by a third grader.

People also apparently reported on 3411, or the aftermath.

I agree the media is going way overkill on UA, but can someone explain to me why and when People started reporting beyond celebrity gossip. Did even they get bored with this? Perhaps they should go back to that.

I'm going to write an article about the millions of bacteria killed each day when United wipes down the tray tables. Scandalous!

Man UA just can't win. I really thought the AA FA/baby stroller thing was going to take the heat off UA, but then this hops in their lap.

But for those wondering here is the UA PetSafe check list/checkin for rabbits:

https://www.united.com/web/format/pd...st-3-29-16.pdf

Seems pretty thorough... but we can leave that for the attorneys to debate.
