Is Google Flight link to United.com broken?

Clicking the "Book with United" button used to pull up the itinerary on United.com. Now it go to the search results page and multi-city trips turn into roundtrips.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't clear your cache/cookies, open up a new incognito browser, and try again. This is an issue with all Google Flights links to direct airline booking pages.

Was having the same issue yesterday with getting from Google Flights to Delta. Seems to be working fine now with Delta. It was consistent across devices/browsers, so I don't think it was a cookie issue.

Problem seems to occur when the fare is not available.

Old thread, but anyway: have tried to book flights using google flights. Found some tickets through United, but each time I hit the select button I´m being redirected to the search site. And searching directly on United.com does not give any flights at all. Originally I searched for four tickets. When searching for five, I come directly to the passenger information side. It seems like four or less won´t give me the ticket, but five or more do. Anyone know why it´s so? Searching for an international multi-city trip, starting in Norway, to USA, and back.

This does not immediately make sense. Can you post dates/routes?

Disabling advert-blocking software may help. Google Flights layers on a lot of ads/analytics trackers between you and the airline's site

Where are you located? UA, unlike most carriers, actually enforces point of sale restrictions.

9th of October: HAU-MCO (Get various options, e.g HAU-OSL-FRA-EWR-MCO)

13th of October: TPA-HAU (e.g TPA—FRA-OSL—HAU)

Some of the routings only contain one United flight, the rest with SAS and Lufthansa.

I’m in Los Angeles and I went to book a ticket last week that had a segment on LH, and Google flights popped up a screen to call LHK2. First time I saw that before as well…

Definitely some funny things going on here. It does not seem to depend whether there is a UA TATL flight either. Perplexing.
