Recent changes to United's policy on pajamas and slippers increased the official availability from flights '12+ hours' to flights '14+ hours'.
There are currently (October/November 2023) mixed reports about actual availability, with some shorter than 14-hour flights still being provisioned with pajamas and slippers.

The printed on-board menu reads:

"Sleep soundly in the sky
Slippers are available by request on all international flights, along with pajamas for flights scheduled 14+ hours.
Ask your flight attendant if you'd like them."

Previous Wiki updated February 22, 2023, left here until final eligible routes can be established:

"On flights longer than 12 hours, we also offer 100% cotton pajamas upon request." (https://www.united.com/web/en-US/con...laris-FAQ.aspx )
Pajamas are provisioned for about half of the eligible seats.
Flights with pajama service (for both directions)
SFO - ICN, PEK, PVG, TPE , AKL , HKG , CTU, SYD, TLV, SIN
EWR - TLV, NRT, PEK , DEL, BOM, HKG, PVG, CPT, JNB
ORD - NRT, PEK, PVG, HKG
LAX - PVG, SYD, MEL
IAD - NRT, PEK
IAH - NRT, SYD
(from United Twitter feed https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CyjFHZLWEAAQV7X
New flights have been added, and some flights ended)

Note: United employee shop sells pajamas for $9.99 a pair as of 12/10/20

No PJs on 862 HKG-SFO today. FA cited supply issues. No slippers either. FA walked away with a shrug.

Just boarded flight UA 850 PEK-ORD. My partner and I got PJs and we saw FA proactively offering them to those sitting on the first class cabin of the three-class 772.

TPE is definitely a PJ route.

The criterion is average of 12 hours for the RT. SFO-TPE pulls the average over 12.

Interesting.
I was on UA851 just few days ago.
Me: "Do you by any chance have PJs loaded on this flight?"
FA: "No, I am sorry, we have a supply issue and are currently out of stock."

UA870 SYD - SFO on Sunday - only one pair on board, which I grabbed. FA said I should have auctioned them on eBay since she had at least 8 requests for them.

You could give it back to FA and ask for $150-200 voucher as compensation, instead!

I like the approach That said, I have failed to get PJ's on multiple flights, sent info to 1K Voice and .............................crickets. No response in over a week. I suspect comp might not be flowing in the near future.

Yep. Always had PJs regardless of direction of travel. Can't deny PJs just because jetstream

Sent a message to customer care and was offered $200 TC. Also told that the stock issue has been resolved and "Eligible United Polaris cabins are now stocked to our standard levels to ensure we can deliver on our promise."

Today's HKG-SFO flight: PJs were not proactively offered but after the meal service I asked a passing FA for some and she returned with one. I didn't see anyone in my section wearing them so I can't tell if the supply issue is resolved or I got the only one.
