2016 Account Snapshot email

Shows how many times flown, longest flight, frequent destinations.

Shows award redemption, though I redeemed in Oct. for next August flight.

Says I got 78k miles from credit cards but that reflects the 70k bonus for Mileage Plus Explorer.

Guess it's a nice summary but of course they have a link to search for more flights.

Got the same thing. One thing I found odd was that it shows how many flights you had in E+ but not in First.

I laugh every time I see my PQD of exactly $6,000, didn't really plan it out like that just how it fell.

I thought it was a pretty cool presentation. Didn't hit me how much time I spent "Up in the Air" till I got that email.

"Your 2016 MileagePlus snapshot and more"

Ditto the above.. Seemed to have missed a marketing opportunity.

Or perhaps they do not want folks to think of upgrades they missed.

Love a good info graphic...

Smart move on United's part to develop content someone would actually be inclined to share on their social channels.

I found it odd too.
In my 125 segments I received E+ 49 times. When you back-out that I did about 40 segments on e145s and Q200s, which don't have E+, I paid for First on 6 segments and got stuck in E- on 8 segments.

So.. I got upgraded about 20 times. Yeesh.

Something interesting I noticed was that it said my most frequent destination was IAH, even though almost all of my tickets (I'd say 90%) originated in IAH. For example, IAH-LGA-IAH. Perhaps its because my home address is registered in New York for my UA account, so UA thinks IAH is just a destination even though my trips begin there?

Ditto. I rarely fly in Y on UA these days due to P fares, so it was uninteresting to me to see the few instances I'd flown in E+ due to award redemption (but perhaps it's a good thing that they're keeping an eye on that ball?).

On the whole, a visually appealing report and a nice touch. I'd like to see an expansion of this, actually, inclusive of lifetime stats and trends.

I finally got mine. I noticed that you can alter the URL to the graphic to make it say whatever you want as it's dynamic.

I noticed my email was not actually correct, when I go to mystatus.united.com the total is slightly higher for '16 there, I suspect due to inclusion of some late posting credit card PQM from the old Platinum pmUA card. This puts me over the threshold for silver by just a few miles 😬.
