Original travel date(s): January 22 - 23, 2017

Flight changes: The change fee and any difference in fare will be waived for new flights departing on or before January 25, 2017, as long as travel is rescheduled in the same cabin (any fare class) and between the same cities as originally ticketed.​​​

Just announced at my gate they are boarding the NEXT flight out, not the flight that was supposed to go first. Probably because they pushed back the original plane. Screwing the original flight.

Did they push back the original plane in order to comply with passenger/public requested, extended tarmac delay legislation (i.i to let people off an aircraft waiting for a gate?) If I recall, the airlines as an industry did not want that legislation to begin with (few industries ask for additional regulation.) Tough to cast blame for following the laws (ez to cast blame for IT failures though.)

Not too familiar how FAA regulations work. Is the hard time out only for pilots? Can the FAs keep working and collect a bonus?
