Landed in IAH, waiting for a gate to open up. I see the regionals are still moving around, so we are taking one of their gates now.

I was flying from ORD-NRT-GUM and had no real impacts. There were significant delays for the IAD and ORD flights into NRT yesterday but wasn't related to the ground stop, just maintenance issues.

Gate agent just came on board to announce some flights are slowly being released but if people wanted to get odd they could. Just say in the gate area becuase we will leave when we ate released.

During the late afternoon/evening bank at DEN, I believe all (or nearly all) gates are in use. UA used gates on A extensively this summer and will be adding a few gates (4?) to the west end of B to help with the lack of capacity and planned growth.
