I flew ORD-FRA on 1/29 and had the "Asian Fusion Chicken Noodle Soup" entree (forgot exact name as it was a few days ago). As others have said, I found it *incredibly* good. It is on the spicy side, but I think that's needed at 33,000 feet. I found myself scraping the bottom of the bowl for one last bite.

If you see this dish on your Polaris menu, order it without hesitation.

+1,000,000. I was skipping the meal on IAH-LHR last week but since I'd gone thru the whole menu already (not counting the shrimp salad), I advised my neighbour to have it, she was very grateful.

+1. Just flew ORD-NRT-ORD, last week, and had the "Asian Fusion Chicken Noodle Soup" and it was delicious. Right amount of spice for a flight. Glad to try something different for once. Presentation was also very good on both flights.

Any pics of the AFCNS?
Noticeable chunks of chicken in it? Is it broth or thicker? Flying IAH-LHR next week as Kirkwoodj mentioned it was on it.

Looks good and right up my alley. Probably something I would have not ordered sight unseen.

Here's a pic of the Asian Chicken Fusion Soup (Thai-style coconut ginger cream, Korean-inspired chicken, udon noodles) from my SFO-HKG flight.

Would you describe as more of a curry or a broth?

More of a curry, with a creamy texture.

LAX-MEL

Boeing 787-9
Meal: Dinner, Breakfast

I picked the Asian Fusion Chicken soup again, although the menu says "Korea-inspired chicken"...whatever that means, they were just chicken thighs

Skipped cheese and sundae

Went for the trio of small desserts, which is a nice choice, having just eaten a sundae from my p.s. EWR-LAX flight

An FA told me (I know, I know) that this has been increasing in popularity on his flights. That worries me, because if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it, and I don't want there to be a risk of it running out. I don't eat much pasta/noodles/rice (I like to get my carbs from dessert) but I don't leave a drop of this behind.

Thanks Hirohito! I'm on that flight on Wednesday. Hate mushrooms which are in 3 of the 4 entrees. HOPE I can score some of the soup. Had it on the way to Dublin last month. It was excellent. Otherwise will fill up on grilled cheese and tomato soup midflight. Thanks again for posting!

I have eaten this a couple of times and agree it is a nice main, I found though that the portion sizes I got were pretty small which on TPAC can leave you wanting a little.
