That burger looks a lot like those frozen cheeseburgers they have at Costco.

~9:30PM EWR-SFO/LAX "Snack"
Does anybody have any recent experience with the offering in J on the ~9:30PM EWR departures to LAX/SFO? United.com lists it as "snack".

Catering has taken a real downward turn. Only two options. 1 hot, 1 cold. The hot was Mac and cheese and the cold was salad with salmon. No warm nuts served. Just packaged nuts.
I thought the US3 were focusing on domestic flying and experience.

This week's flights:
ORD-IAH 7:30am departure. Listed as Snack flight.
Choice between Honey Nut Cheerios and Egg White sandwich on sourdough. I picked the Cheerios - the size of the portion was consistent with old breakfasts served on this route, just no breakfast breads.
IAH-LAX, 6:30pm departure. Dinner flight.
Choices again Buffalo Mac & Cheese and Salmon Salad. Got the salmon again - I still like this one.
LAX-ORD 6:30am departure. Breakfast flight.
Choice between “vegetable calzone” or salmon protein plate. I actually quite like the turkey/hummus protein plate, so picked the salmon protein plate. Not bad - smoked salmon. Got a choice between biscuits and cinnamon rolls.
