How recently did you see this? Last time I was in T6, it looked like it was blocked off for construction. I assumed they were trying to fit another retail spot there.

Yeah, I just looked - the construction was a video wall that now blocks off the view of most of the former smoking patio. Windows used to run the length.

Function matters more than form for me. Hence my lack of interest in ORD T2 UC.

Walked past the new entrance coming home Tuesday night, and didn't even think to check if it might be open (since it wasn't, I'm retroactively glad I didn't). After seeing the photos here, I'm excited to check it out later this month.

I think we need to keep banging this drum. Showers in the Polaris Lounge are obviously essential, and look great, but I don't think they should come at the expense of United Club showers, especially at international gateways.

I'm in the lounge this morning, now open to the public. Food spread is much more limited, obviously, than the opening ceremony. Usual cold breakfast items -- no hot items except oatmeal. A lot of UA corporate people here this morning.
