Ticket Reissue Problem - HELP!

What is up with United Airlines? This is my 3rd day to sit on hold by Mileage Plus, attempting to get ticket reissued! United notified me that they made changes to my flight that was already ticketed (purchased Sept 09) and if I did not approve, contact an agent for assistance. Well, it wasn't okay, so I contacted an agent who adjusted my flight to work for me, then sat on hold for 30 minutes.
4 more agents, 3 days and 5 hours later, they are still attempting to get ticket reissued. Each time I am told they have to contact their support department. Mind you, these are changes that were initiated by United. So, here I sit on hold again by 6th agent. It has been 1-1/2 hrs. I contacted United this time at 8:09pm tomight and it is now 9:34pm. To top it all off, I asked for a supervisor and after 20 mins on hold, I got cut off as sup answered on the other end. Now agent Dahrel (Darrell?) tells me that
"only their RPC (reservation processing center) can reissue ticket as another airline is involved , but rest assured you are confirmed under this reservation. Call back every other day if you don't see that your ticket is reissued."
REALLY, United? Do you think I have an hour and half each day to waste on hold, because my call "is really important to you"? Total phone time so far, 6hrs and 45mins. Is my frustration unwarranted? Lord grant me patience.
UPDATE: After midnight, now Nov 16, 2016. I received a call from Supervisor Sheila in their Phillipine center. She reviewed their log regarding their attempts to reissue my ticket. Incredibly she took a few minutes (instead of hours) to inform me that she has "reissued ticket. You are set to go." I then asked her to send me an email confirming that she has reissured my ticket and repeated my email address to her; at which time she said "yes" indicating that she had my email address. It is now 7am CDT and no email. Contrary to supervisor Sheila's claim, my ticket STILL has NOT been reissued. Help!!

Have you checked your PNR on UA.com? It's possible she just messed up the email and your ticket is possibly re-issued. Also, you could try changing seats a couple times (from original to a new seat, then back to original). I've done that a couple times to get the ticket reissued immediately.
