Just got email:
$24,000 - 33,000 miles
$27,000 - 49,000
$29,500 - 81,000
Too bad most of my tickets for the rest of the year (until Nov 30 at least) have already been purchased. Interesting to see the wide disparity of 'milestones' between members!

I haven't ever flown United, but have the Explorer card and flew on Copa metal a bit last year (credited miles to my United account). No email, but signed up through the link:
$500 - 8,000 miles
$1,000 - 12,000 miles
$2,000 - 20,000 miles
Girlfriend has also traveled on Copa metal last year and no United flights, no Explorer card either. She got the same exact offer.

$1,000 > 6,000
$2,000 > 9,000
$2,500 >15,000
Not amazing, but not terrible, as I'll actually hit this with no trouble. FWIW, didn't get a status bump last week but yesterday purchased a $2k economy fare mostly on LH but on 016 ticket stock (not worth voiding since partner flights, even on 016 stock, don't appear to count, and I'd be stuck paying the TA's fee regardless of void)

Those that have real, earned status and spent significant money with United get unrealistic, crappy offers. $10,000 = 21,000 miles.

$12,500 ->21k
$14,000 ->+31k
$16,500 ->+52k
FWIW, PQD last year was over $12k, but don't think by a lot. Unlikely to get there this year, but $4k spend for 83k miles might be tempting if I'm already there

Perhaps purchase is better for some
I also checked cost of out right buying miles....if you don't care about PQM.
With a "sale" on miles now through 5/27/2016, (bonuses of 25%, 50%, or 100%) I can get the same or more miles for half the price......
Choose wisely!

Of course it only applies to fares booked after the offer... and I'm sitting on around $7k in already-booked travel in the eligible period. Sigh.
At least I got the offer, I suppose. That's better than recent history for me.

Milestone 1: spend $8,500 and earn 15,000 bonus award miles
Milestone 2: spend $9,000 total and earn 22,000 more award miles
Milestone 3: spend $11,000 total and earn 36,000 more award miles
Will be lucky to get it. I qualified for 1K last year by $3 and have about $4K YTD.

Mine is great, but since I'm already booked and paid thru September, (just squeaking by to 1K), they won't see a penny more from me.
Their free status bump promo pushed me to book the rest of the year's flights on AA and give my RPUs to a friend.
$2500 - 30,000
$4000 - 44,000
$8500 - 74,000

Didn't receive email, this was my offer. Silver, not bumped -
$4,500 for 8k
$5,000 total for 12k more
$6,000 total for 20k more
So, $6,000 for 40k RDM. Should be attainable. PQM spend as of today is $5,200.

Agree with Bradhattan on the miles sale....I think it is a pretty good sale at 1.88cpm if going in at 40000 miles and above. I checked cash fares ORD-FRA for tomorrow and they are in the $ 2,800.- range but an award sets you back only 30000 miles and $ 80.60 so with buying points at $753.00 ( 20k + 10k bonus ) you save an easy 2Grand....
