1K here and not eligible. Shame because I'd easily hit those spend thresholds. Perhaps they take spend rates into account for the targeting.

I just checked and I don't qualify either. I passed those PQDs a while back in early Feb.

I haven't received a promotion email in several years. I certainly feel I am taken for granted.

WTH? 1K here, I passed 75K by April 10th and will requal for 1K by the end of May. Current travel will see me north of 205K PQM and $26K in PQD by EOY 2016.

What does one have to do to get any love from UA. I guess they just take me for granted. What was the saying about retaining customers vs. attracting new ones?

Just another reason for me to match to Delta and see if it is greener on the other side....

Are you one of United's overentitled flyers? :)

Apparently! Although I don't see much 'entitlement' from being 1K these days.....:td:

No status and I got

$2000 50k
$3000 65k
$5000 85k

First year domestic 1K, a bit light on travel YTD, no offer.

I did get a bonus miles offer last year for flights completed by 2/29/16 - still waiting for the miles to show up.

I have my UA address registered outside the US to bypass the PQD qualification rule. I was also not eligible.

I got the promo and I haven't flown United since a year ago today. I've had 47 flights on Delta since but do have a flight scheduled on United from ORD to SFO next month, only because it's on a 747. I need to check that plane off my list before they disappear completely.

Why would United be inclined to incentivize you? You're already far beyond meeting the criteria of what they want.

I think the point of this promotion is to TRY to get people back. I was a 1K since the merger, was Plat (top tier) on CO for years before. But, this year I became a Silver Premier. So, clearly I've moved on. United's offer to me was pretty good, but if they want me back, it'd have to be something else.

NO status here
NOT flown United since Nov
NADA for this promo

enjoying the other side with AA and others

30k miles for 1k PQD
40k miles for 2k PQD
50k miles for 3k PQD

so same miles as the poster I quoted but each for 1k PQD less.

Very tempting offer. The less you fly UA the better the offer maybe? ;)

Seems like this is for people who haven't shown much flight activity or new members. 1K here and I am not eligible :(

That makes sense, but then I was GS from 2006-2013, and have gotten zero promos to try to get me back since my flying dropped to sub-silver in 2014, sub-Gold in 2015, and now at 1400 PQM and $480 PQD for the year. :D

I may have a black piggy next to my name. :D Or United is as incompetent as ever post merger, and has no idea how or who to reach out to....

P.s. I do wonder if this "targeting" comes from those with high VISA/MC credit card spending on travel. United can buy data on those with high travel spending as far as I know, but my spending is 90% on my AMEX (other than my VX spending) and I don't think AMEX sells this data...

deadly_scorpion Apr 20, 2016 9:41 pm

1K here..not targeted ........

:@

Renard Apr 20, 2016 10:00 pm

Nothing here. MM and former multi-year 1K. <3000 EQM since Jan 2015 and none this year. Clearly UA is glad I've moved on.

$13.5k for 50k miles

Former 1K for many years, down to silver after switching to AA.

Can anyone beat that?

I think all of us who received nothing have you beat!
