I took the Waiver today and changed a RT from G to W and moved it out a few days. I was moving flights around with SDC to work around an appointment at origin. Once I saw this, I completely rescheduled to later in the week. It really worked well for me.. Thanks and Safe Travels

Well, this post probably saved me some headache tomorrow. Pushed my flight up from FLL to hopefully beat the storm. I was originally scheduled to get into Newark at 7 PM but that looks unlikely. Let's hope the morning flights take off as the planes are full from south Florida to NYC tomorrow.

Cut vacation short a day, but ensured we got home. I still think that based on forecasts, our scheduled flight due into IAD at 1am Tuesday would have been OK (particularly since the snow started early and thus presumably the rain phase will start early), but better safe than stuck away from home...

Have a 7 AM SNA departure that is supposed to land at EWR tomorrow at 317 PM. Really not sure what to do here as it would be better if I managed to get in tomorrow vs. what I'd have to change to go Tuesday.

Then again if it cancels and I can't get in until Later...

EDIT: Went ahead and changed. figured if even the flight is on time, landing at 3:17 then getting bags and driving back to CT would be a nightmare

Well, the best laid plans. Switched to the earlier flight to EWR from FLL and then was promptly de-boarded after heading towards what looked like an ontime departure. Currently drinking Bud Light at the Chili's in the airport hoping we actually make it out since the United Club is overcrowded as usual.
