And do they walk you on before pre board (like before announcements start) like AA 5 Star? Along with super proactive IRROPS protection by the assigned UA agent?

Does this provide Global check-in and First/Polaris lounge access like the AA program, along with dedicated IRROPs rebooking? If so, that’s a pretty cool way to gift GS for a day.

As usual UA is being super opaque on benefits and costs..

Does anyone know how this service works on an international to domestic connection in EWR? I have parents flying CPT-EWR-LAX and was wondering where they will be met on arrival.

    Escort help thru ORD?

My mom, who is a little on the elderly side - but still capable - is flying thru ORD tomorrow evening with her 2 youngest grandchildren (8 and 10 yrs). They all have lots of travel experience over the years - but ORD is, well ORD (and not newark or houston) - and while I am not sure which gates they are connecting thru, I was wondering if there are reasonable options to help or an escort (she does not need a wheelchair and she would clearly refuse it) to help get from one to the other during their 75 min layover.....

United Signature Service seems to be still available -- was able to get it to generate a quote ($250 for arriving at ORD 1 adult, 2 kids)

thanks - while I can see some value in this for specific situations - like some of those listed,
I have a hard time justifying the $400 (which was the quote I was given for 1 adult and 2 children) to make sure my mom was escorted from 1 domestic flight to the next in Chicago..... many of the other features that give this some value, which is a relative term, are not needed........ hmmm

For whatever it's worth, I personally find EWR and IAH take more concentration to navigate than ORD. The concourse lettering system works pretty well at ORD. The gate numbers at EWR are arbitrarily distributed across the C1,2,3 piers, while at IAH the C concourse is just kind of all over the place (e.g., the C40s seem really like they should be E something or maybe instead F as a new letter).

Anyway, all of that is to say I think traversing ORD in 75min is fine, although I admittedly have never been a grandparent shepherding two grandchildren.

While ORD T5->T1 international arrivals might be one of the most annoying/confusing among United hubs, I think T1 domestic connections are some of the easiest of any major airport.

Hardest part will be keeping the grandkids from wanting to go back and forth in the mesmerizing B<->C tunnel.

    — or to keep them from just standing agape in the middle of the tunnel!

Not cheap, see wiki for links and pricing quote

Not sure adding another adult will make things that much easier.
What would you be looking for in assistance?

Any recent experiences with this at EWR? A friend's 18 year old daughter is flying to the US for the time. She will have a domestic connection after her international flight into EWR. She's in business and will have a lot of luggage and since it's the first time she will be flying alone she wants someone to hold her hand. She got a quote of US $ 250 which she is willing to pay.

Any other companies that provide meet and greet services at EWR for international to domestic connections?

    Thanks!

Any recent experiences with this in ORD considering the ATS is down? Have a tight 1.25hr I to D connection and curious if this service could help us make the connection.

Spent about 15 minutes trying to get a quote for this service and failed - worst user interface since 1997. It's like like they want any business.
