Award Ticket Question
 
I'm currently booked CLT-EWR-LHR


CLT-EWR is saver economy


EWR-LHR is saver GlobalFirst



Can i cancel the CLT-EWR segment and purchase a paid ticket (i'm 6'8 and my knees cant survive in E-)?


I dont want to lose the space from EWR-LHR

Rebooking to drop a segment is no problem if all UA operated ticket there may be a fee for not an UA elite. However, why not just purchase E+ access on your existing ticket for the CLT-EWR if you don't have access as an UA elite?

If you are a 1K as your handle indicates, you should be able to automatically select E+ seats on an award ticket

Sorry its more about me being a little too big/tall for E


I dont mind paying for CLT-EWR in F i just dont want to lose the EWR-LHR Saver F space that im already ticketed in

You can waitlist for the F domestic saver award. If you have some time before the flight I would do this. But check out how many F seats are being sold. It's better for irrops to keep it one res.
