Yes.. I figure most 1Ks get at least one CPU a year (despite all the griping). Most should be able to know when one of them is if they wanted to use the benefit, but the catch is that this also needs to be a good award redemption, which is tricky. For example, I have a regular route I always CPU, but burning miles for it would generally be less attractive than cash, and I'm also locked in a battle for 12,000 PQD.

Mexico and Latin America are particularly likely. I cleared both directions IAH-LIR on an award two years ago.

Have even cleared SFO-DEN, though wouldn't normally expect that.
