This frame, N787UA, was supposed to be UA41 FCO-EWR on 7/24 and then UA43 FCO-IAD on 7/25. It's still sitting in Rome and is supposed to ferry to IAD on 7/27 as UA2144. From there it's doing 7/27 UA918 IAD-LHR and then my flight 7/28 UA935 LHR-LAX. It will be interesting to see if this frame makes it to LHR in time for my flight.
My flight swapped to N204UA. N787UA is still in Rome and is supposed to fly to IAD today as ferry flight UA2160. UA2160 is showing delayed 4 hours due to aircraft maintenance arriving at 9:40 EST to turn around for the 10:10pm UA924 IAD-LHR.

Apparently, all UA flights from Chicago are delayed due to operational difficulties. Anyone know what's going on?

The FAA website is reporting this so things don't look good
