Problem Getting UA Certificates via Email

I have a ~$500 certificate from United.

I can call in and get them to put it towards a future flight but every time I ask them to email me the pin code so that I can access the certificate myself and use it online I never get the email.

The phone representatives have checked my email numerous times and I am certain there is nothing going into my spam email - I just don't get the email. It's not an odd email address or anything like that; good old Gmail.

Anyone else had this problem? I am not sure what to do.

I receive those emails without any issues. They do not come immediately after you request one by phone though, I get them in 2-7 business days after requesting them.

The email address that they originate from is "From: <unitedairlines%united.com>". Replace the % with the usual symbol that you would put there.

I don't use gmail though. If everything fails, try using another email address that isn't "free".

Unrelated to eCert issues, since July 2015, United operations has stopped emailing me and my wife all together (i.e. no flight status, no boarding passes, etc.) . I have contacted 1KVoice and Customer Relations (United.com/appreciation) 5 times to report this issue but in each instance the only email response was a canned email thanking me for my inquiry.

Anyone know the number or email to the 'we give a damn' department at United >

I never get my emails on cert. either after being told they will be sent.
To protect yourself so it does somehow not get "lost", I would call back and have them verbally give it to you and write it down.

To add, when I have tried to use them online many times it does not work. So I call again and verbally give them the number and book with an agent.

I know, archaic.

I've had the same issue as well. I don't think they always go out.

Consider it another broken item with the systems at United Continental Holdings, Inc.

Glad I am not the only one being neglected by UA...

I usually get my flight notification emails but have never gotten any of the other "special" emails that I occasionally read about here. Guess I will just call in and use my certification that way.
