[Targeted Promo?] Bonus RDM miles for Higher Fares

Got an email because I'm a valuable silver member - my first ever one!

Register now, book STARTING TODAY to feb 29, and fly dec 1 - feb 29 And get bonus miles.

For "longer segment (>3000 miles) or P.S. Flights
FAJCDZP - 6,000 Miles
YBMEUH - 3,000 Miles

For shorter segments
FAJCDZP - 3,000 Miles
YBMEUH - 1,000 Miles

I think it's per trip and not per segement. You can repeat up to 50k miles.

I can't remember the promo code because once I registered it doesn't pop back up. Promo code is TD5111.

I have a follow up question.

I actually booked a Biz ticket yesterday. I saw this promo, went online this morning to make sure it was still the same price (it dropped actually), Called UA to resissue my ticket at the lower price difference.

My united reservation still shows "TICKETED AND CONFIRMED" Monday Nov 16.
The email receipt I just got says Issue date: November 17.

I'm guessing if I want the promo to count I need united to actually cancel my rez, and then make me another one? I'm still within 24 hours.

Wait a second here!

So I registered on my phone this morning and didn't pay much attention. I went on the United page just now and it says I, too, am ineligible!

Like others here, I got the email, but when I went to register I was told I'm ineligible. And the problem isn't that it's targeted only at silvers. My email started with "Because you are a valued Premier® Platinum member..."

The level of incompetence at UA is increasingly frustrating.

Call 1 to UA - Since there is an AC leg, I wouldn't even be eligible (he stated not reading the offer but that's how it always works)

Call 2 to UA said since I had "exchanged" my ticket previously (that was getting the $12 in fare difference), that the change fee can't be waived. Said she could call ticketing to maybe get that reversed? Said no thanks, not worth it to jeopardize my rez.

Adding this on top of the fact that I might not even be eligible for the promotion done, I give up. Congrats United, you win.

Same here. Received the targeted email - because you're a valued 1K member - registered and told that I was ineligible.

As someone who has never gott'n a single promo

... as I sunk from GS to my MM gold status, its nice to see that United not only can't target these offers, but can't even make them work for those they target.

When Oscar comes back, job one ought to be a find and replace for anyone in IT who advocated for Shares or had anything to do with PMCO IT.

Same here. There must be a bug, too many people who clicked on the email they received were told they were ineligible. I complained to 1K voice. They typically forward my complaint to MPSC, since their email is secret.

Nope, I got the email personalized with my name and MP number. When I click through to register I'm not eligible.
