On December 1, 2016, BusinessFirst service on p.s. transcontinental routes became United Business®, and now features our custom Saks Fifth Avenue pillow and duvet. Previous p.s. features did not change other than the new bedding.
The first PS flights to/from EWR started 25 Oct 2015

FAQs
Are all flights on these routes lie-flat, etc?
Yes -- all non-stop flights from SFO/LAX to/from EWR and SFO<>BOS are configured as such regardless of aircraft used. All scheduled aircraft have a lie-flat premium cabin.

Are these CPU-eligible flights?
No -- no CPU on these flights. It will take RPU/GPU/mileage+copays to upgrade. Generally, these are "hard" upgrades.

Are TODs / Cash upgrades offered?
Yes, $298 cash OW upgrades are regularly offered.

I have been watching the 767 schedule on the LAX-EWR citypair very closely, because I might have to travel that route soon.
The 763 2-1-2 J configuration is very much alive and has been on that route frequently over the past two weeks. Lately the 767 true Polaris has been showing up more often.
SU-TH this week out of EWR it is the "old" 763 today TU and out of LAX tomorrow WE, the rest is "new".
Glad to see true Polaris more often, with the added benefit of PE seats on the 76L

The 76L does not appear a regular feature though, since the flights do not sell PE fares, vs. the 781, which offers PE booking classes, daily except SA.
OTOH, I hope they really get rid of those 753 asap.
