I saw these signs today too!! Some United Employees were walking down the escalators with them and I immediately Googled to figure out what it was.

Anyone participated today that can chime in on what it was?

There's an extra section on ORD-HNL today, flight 2205. F is full, C is almost full and Y is really light. This must be it, no? (tried to post a screenshot of the seat map but couldn't)
