Is anyone else still getting the 3k summer bonus and if so did you receive any official communication as to how long it will last? Per my initial offer it was supposed to end sometime in mid September but I'm continuing to receive it at least through the end of the month. No complaints as this is a jackpot for me but just wondering when it will end (hopefully never).

I think I received an email extending the 1250 for booking on UA but don't remember anything about the 3k. I usually rent 4-5 cars a week so if I have three more months of this seems like I can get an extra pair of LH pajamas!

I didn't get an email extending the bonus miles. Great deal, though, if it is true! I will have to wait and see what happens on my next rental (which will be in early November). I am still missing my united.com bonus of 1500 miles from a rental in late August, though...will have to finagle the miles out of that one in a couple of weeks.

But I'm finding that this time around, the bargains are harder to find. I really did a lot of rentals in June-Sept at IAD, and could find cheap one-day rentals there on Thurs, Sat and Sun. The majority of those were well under $30.
For Sept-Jan, I'm only finding sub-$30 rentals on Sundays, and even those are not easy to find. Anyone else seeing higher prices and fewer dates compared to the summer at your local airport?

I've found that when starting a reservation, clicking on the link in the email doesn't always prepopulate the search form with both the CDP and PC codes for the bonus miles. And if you then do an advanced search, it seems to be even more likely that one or both of the those codes will not be included. I've reached the point that I'm always checking the "Complete Your Reservation" page to make sure the codes are included before clicking "Reserve" to complete the reservation.

i've been able to take advantage of this miles bonanza exactly ONCE.
i've found hertz prices to be prohibitive, often 40% - 60% higher than the price i get when using my best avis codes and getting 1000 - 1500 AA miles as an elite... and hertz tacks on ridiculously absurd "one way" fees when avis does not.
rent at EWR, but return at JFK? avis considers that the same city... hertz does not. rent at a casino on the las vegas strip, but return at LAS? that's a one-way rental for hertz, but carries no penalty with avis. i can sometimes find affordable rates with hertz by using other codes... but then i lose out on the UA miles. for business rentals with hertz, more often than not, i'll just use my corporate code and take the hertz points.

I recently started using the discount code and promo code. These Hertz miles are so slow to post to United. The base 500 miles are posting one week after the rental. I had premier bonuses for five rentals between 9/19 and 9/28 all post this morning. We'll see when/if the 1,500 bonus posts.

I still have not recieved any of the 3000 bonus miles on any of my hertz bookings. Ive gotten the 1500, 500 and 750 for my status. Do I need to file a credit card dispute? I was targeted for the offer and used all the codes.

I had a problem with a recent posting, called MPSC, and was able to get it to credit.

I've gotten the miles every time. The 3K miles usually posts a week or so after the rest of the miles.
I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I received a 3K bonus from both Hertz and Hilton. I only get about 10% of my miles from actual flights.

Same for me, no issues with the miles and still getting the 3,000 summer bonus for my last rental on Oct 10th.

The Mileage Plus Service Center. It's a different desk than Reservations, and they deal exclusively with MP credit issues and other MP requests.
