I am disappointed that this new United car rental site doesn't get its own thread.
Just tried to book a one-way, one-day AVP (Scranton, PA) to BDL (Hartford, CT) and United/rentalcar.com comes back with ~USD 1077.00 for an intermediate car!!! (An SUV is ~USD1438.00)
Actual price should be ~USD150.00 or thereabouts.

UPDATE: cleared all cookies, logged in with a USA IP address, and priced were displayed correctly (~USD130 and upward).

My first rental using the new system worked fine so far, but the miles have not yet posted. Usually they post within a week, but my rental completed on May 20 still hasn't generated miles onto my account. Has anyone else noticed a change in the amount of time it takes for the mileage deposit?

Be advised, when using this portion to book for ATL, it's giving the wrong airport. I typed in "ATL" and selected "Atlanta International Airport" from the drop down. I then went to verify my reservation with Hertz and it showed as Atlanta Peachtree Airport in Dekalb. I cancelled the reservation and booked another through the United portal, same thing. I'm changing my reservation with Hertz now but it's costing me $20 because of this error.

any experiences with earning UA miles from non-airport locations via the new website?
i’m giving it a shot in a couple weeks (i also took a screenshot of the UA/rentalcars.com website saying i’d earn 2500mi just in case), but if it’s a no-go i’ll rebook with my local enterprise.

This booking engine is also slow and cumbersome.
Thanks for the crappy "upgrade", United.

So I have called Hertz directly to book my last two rentals and the phone agents both gave me rates 20% lower than the Hertz website (which was also lower than the United site portal). I don't know what points I will accumulate as I didn't pay attention to the codes, but I will soon find out.

I don't like the new website either. However, the bonus 1,500 miles have posted for my rentals, just seem a little longer to post, that's all.
On another note, has anyone been offered the 3,000 bonus miles yet? I hope it comes back.
