New Cowshed Amenity / Shower Kits [1 Aug 2015, Revised March 2016]

New amenity kits for BF and GF from Cowshed by Soho House. Some of the products will also be in the lounges.
http://newsroom.united.com/index.php...95&item=124571

The new United Global First and United BusinessFirst amenity kits will be available on long-haul international flights to and from the United States. The premium, earth-tone kits will contain Cowshed's moisturising hand cream, Lippy Cow Natural Lip Balm and Chamomile Refreshing Towelette. United Global First kits will also offer Cowshed's Quinoa Hydrating Daily Moisturiser and Jasmine Toning Eye Balm.

In addition, the kits will contain a variety of other items, such as socks and an eye mask – both with signature designs – tissue, ear plugs, a toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss.

Meanwhile, premium-cabin lavatories on dozens of aircraft in United's international fleet will also offer Cowshed products, including Chamomile Refreshing Toner and Lavender Gentle Cleanser.

Dont have an opinion for the products in the amenity kits, but if the picture is accurate, I like the bags.

Serious question - do passengers actually care about receiving an amenity kit?

Are the amenity cases real leather?

I wonder how this amenity will be received on the flights to Mumbai and Delhi?

Do a search and you will see Rimowa amenity kits are very popular on the LH, NH, and TG forum. (BR has one too) And they are being sold quite expensive on ebay.

I hope this is the end of the cheap Plegaria stuff in NRT.

I had actually seen the Cowshed products in the shower in the VS Clubhouse in HKG, they are in big bottles, I do hope UA will come up with individual small bottles so that any leftover I can take it with me. Perhaps bring back a PMUA style shower kit as well ?

I like amenity kits. They wouldn't sway my choice of an airline, but I always appreciate the eye covers, the pen, the toothbrush/paste, and the skin cream.

Much of US leather comes from India and leather products can be purchased all over India.

They're genuinely attractive. Thumbs up. I do hope the new GF kit folds out into a multi-level hanging toiletry bag the way the last one did, though. That was a clever design.

I never flew GF but these seem like a big upgrade to the BF kits currently.

What will I do without my premium Philosophy products and coupons!?!?!

These look like a nice step up!

My favorite kits are still the Rimowa kits on NH and TG first class - to me they are so cool... A friend of mine owns one of the largest global companies that puts together these things for the suppliers / airlines - you would be amazed how cheap they are (only a few dollars cost each) - which always amazed me how little companies spend on their "best' customers (not a UA comment no flames please).

Amenity kits are part of the inflight package on airlines that can enhance the overall flying experience for the passenger, so in my opinion it is part of the puzzle on how one views a particular airline product.
