Serving my own cashews in F on United express
half the time they either don't serve them or they do it after the main meal. What is up with this?
Well i am just back from whole foods i got 1 pound of unsalted cashews and 12 paper Hilton coffee cups i will be serving these as soon as the seatbelt sign comes off.
Don't think there is any rule against this?

Nope. You can serve yourself whatever you want besides booze. NEVER been served the nuts after the main meal before

You can do it, but you'll probably get some strange looks and a lot of refusals if you're planning on offering to others, which is how I read your post.
Not everyone is as obsessed with cashews as some people on this forum.

Oh boy, I see another UA diversion for suspicious activity by a passenger. I know you mean no harm but given how UA is super cautious, which I am fine with, some people may see this as super weird.
Personally I would just decline. If it was a seat mate offering, I would not think anything of it. A person getting up to serve the entire cabin though is weird.

Seriously, what's the point!?!? Unsalted cashews are just wrong. 😃
(And in all my years of traveling UA, I've not gotten the salted nuts only one time.)
