It's not just UA. Airline food in Y isn't anything special. Remember when airlines served meals in Y on domestic flights? Many people complained about the quality.

That particular line of instant noodles from Nissin is pretty good when it's prepared correctly. The instant bowl ramen is pictured, as is the original Y430 price. Bring this one into C or F cos it's that hoity toity.

Nissin had a pop up ramen stand on the Shibuya station platform last year featuring these noodles. Choice of shoyu or miso or tonkotsu prepared to order, Y300. Worth every yen.
