Historical ticket price

Is there any way, calling UA or otherwise to find out what a walk up fare in a specific class of service was on a certain date a few months ago?

Just call UA, and ask the agent to pull up the city-city tariff for the date that you are interested in. Agents often have to do this themselves, when they are trying to figure out an expired fare in order to calculate a residual credit, etc.

Since fares fluctuate intra-day, what figure is stored historically ? Beginning of day, median of fare sold, median of fare quoted, or end of day ?
