Btw, I too found jasmine green. It's the same color as rooibos, and the one I found was tucked in amongst all the rooibos. So you have to look hard. This is the first UC where I've seen jasmine green. Although UC's are crowded with mediocre food, you really have to appreciate that they have great coffee and tea.

UC at LAX might be the best that I've been to in the US. It is so spacious, and I've never had trouble finding a table for 4 there. Although the food there is 90% same as anywhere else, I think their trail mix is different and better. Love that they have two espresso machines.

Hnl refresh
Area that used to be business center
It looks like hnl club is finally starting to get the refresh ua advertised, what, 3?? years ago iirc. They postponed so they could 'focus on polaris construction'. Not exactly my definition of 'focus' but at least hnl wasn't completely forgotten. They even have some new furniture - note, only some new furniture - an odd mix of new and old.

Sorry to see the old cubicles go - I kinda like setting up in there. They could move the food/beverage stations in there with some modifications (vs the makeshift/distributed set-up they have always had)..

I noticed distribution of old/new furniture sort of reflects County - Ewa side (west) is always complaining Diamond Head side (east) gets the love....

How do you mean distributed food set-up? It's been a year since I was at HNL, but I thought the food was all on a table sort of opposite the bar.

Water dispensers are set up against Diamond Head wall near bar.
Coffee/juice/etc is set up where food/drink used to be in the hallway just before reaching bar area. In not-so distant past, food was on both sides of hallway just before bar area.
Hopefully, they'll put in a soda dispenser with the re-model.

IAD C17 had a great assortment of bite-sized pastries (like what I posted about at DCA last spring, but with more flavors like a delicious miniature strawberry-cheesecake pie on a graham-cracker-crust base) at lunchtime Monday. Much better than the dessert options at SFO at the other end of my trip.

DCA UC
Breakfast
Had savory muffins as well as apple and blueberry pastries:
folded over paper wrapper to the right was one of the apple pastries - subsequently the UC catering staff put out more of both apple and blueberry.
