Hey everyone,

Just thought I'd let you know that the United Upgrade Success spreadsheet has been updated for CPU success up to this point.

Gotta catch my NH flight to SIN catch everyone later!

Safe Travels,

James

Hm, something seems wrong.

Flight in two days on e75, booked 1/12 in F, has been PZ9 for last two days at least, no CPU.

It's a short flight, so I'm just going to wait and see what happens.

This happened yesterday to me on two flights; both the original one and the SDC one. Original flight was at 4/20 739 and I was 5th on the waitlist as a Premier Platinum. I was able to SDC to an earlier E75 flight that was at 2/12 and got my upgrade.

That said, on my outbound flight last Sunday, I was upgraded at the Premium Platinum window on a 'W' fare.

Increasingly UA is not running any sweeps until T-24. A positive for 1Ks who buy expensive fares late.

I've not seen no sweep with PZ9 before, though.

I know the received wisdom is the sweep will run with PZ5 or higher, but UA is constantly tinkering with the process.

True, it could be the new normal rather than 'something wrong'.

T-23.x now, still waiting. ... This is lots of fun. So much suspense.

Two seats did fill later yesterday, so F up to 3/12. I'm unsure if they're last-minute new bookings or upgrade requests going through, but from watching the seat map I think maybe one of each. When F went to 2/12, PZ9 went to PZ7; then at 3/12, PZ6.

I cleared EWR to IAD Saturday Dec 8th as a 1K on a mileage ticket. Happened at 96 hour mark with pz=7.

CPU cleared for a Silver, on an award ticket, no less. YYC-SFO tomorrow. Cleared somewhere around T-18. I was optimistic based off expert mode and the seat map but certainly didn't expect it to clear this early

CPU Cleared at T-48 for both CLE-ORD and ORD-SLC as a gold. This is the second time in three years as a Gold that I got a CPU out of CLE. Other time was on a Saturday CLE-IAD-MSY (also cleared IAD-MSY that route). I never really bother to look at the upgrade list anymore, with how aggressive it's been with buy ups, I never expect an upgrade.

I am flying this Saturday (15th) MSY-DEN-ASE on UA2412 and UA5733 both in fare class V. As a Premier Platinum could I have help understanding what are my CPU chances are?
Thanks in advance!

Pretty good on MSY-DEN; F is wide open and there don't appear to be many 1Ks on the flight (E+ is nearly empty).

Low on DEN-ASE; there's only one seat left.
