My UG% in 2023 as a PLT (through July) and 1k (Since) is nowhere near as good as yours, more like 10% without +P or buy-ups. But my home airport is SFO...

I just looked through my flight history this year and I was CPU'd on 7/17 (41%) flights. One of those was on a 787 IAD-LAX. Sweet ride. My gf was my upgraded companion on that flight. Always nice to share the perks.
Anyway, does any other Silver have as high an UG% ? I feel like that's gotta be abnormally high.

Route/day/time specific. Try flying IAD-SFO widebody, even on a Saturday during the summer, you might be lucky landing in the teens/low 20s out of 150-200 people on the upgrade list as a 1K.

I have done quite a few IAD-LGA/EWR-IAD and DCA-EWR-DCA flights this year.
All cleared CPU except for one flight, which is the only mainland aircraft (757) I flown on these routes.

2/3 or 3/4 CPUs for DCA-DEN
Got CPU for DCA-ORD outbound on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but changed to the nonstop (DCA-DEN). Got CPUs for both DEN-ORD (T-36 h) and ORD-DCA (T-96 h) on return today.

IAD-SFO, December 9
Switched from B77W 20A and 20B seats to a late flight, which had very few premier members. I was No. 1 and Mrs. Kmxu was No. 2 on the upgrade standby list. She got upgrade cleared at T-32 h and I got it at T-27 h (United is family friendly 😄 ). Do not ask me why🤪

I have JAX-IAD-xxx coming up. #13 of 36 on JAX-IAD and #4 of 16 for IAD-xxx (ERJ175). I have no hope on either of them. I'm sure it's GS and PPs ahead of me.
