Expecting my UA29 EWR-LHR sCO 777 to be delayed tonight if they keep the same inbound (which it has shown since yesterday) being UA89 PVG-EWR which is due to land at 6:30 in B...our flight is scheduled for 7:30 from C.
If there is not a swap I hope there is some good tail wind because I have 90 min in LHR before 4U to TXL.

JVPhoto will be fortunate to make his 90 minute connection for sure, if they don't make up any time.

UA 5 LHR-IAH diverted to DFW, as we had pretty vicious storm come through here this evening. Has now just departed DFW for IAH. Guessing they just put in a little fuel and did not deplane/immigrate anyone? Bet that would be fun to sit out there for 2.5hrs after 10 hours in the air...

it's pathetic. The outbound was 5 hours late due to operational difficulties ... now cancelled due to weather. This should be reported to the DOT ... UA keeps making up stuff.

Mystery MX delay this morning UA1106 SFO-MCO, 108 minutes delayed. 739.
Could the joy be spreading west to SFO?

This is what kills me about UA. A delayed inbound due to mechanical turns into a "weather" delay for the next flight. I've had this happen numerous times on UA and I'm fed up with it.

It did arrive at the B gates. Just got towed at about 7:25 to the gate. Was listed as 8:15 and now 8:30 with 8:35am arrival in LHR gives me 35 min but I'm hoping that we leave a little early and looking at some flightaware data actually get in at 8 as opposed to the blocked time.
Edit: still needs to be cleaned saying boarding in 20-25 min. Abandon hope all ye who enter.

So when you see this set up, one can count on a big delay every time.
Goes without saying that I avoid UA for all long haul now and EWR for late day departures.

Sitting on my 4U flight after landing at about 8:28 and "Home Alone'ing it" (running) from B34 or wherever we were with about 4 min in transit security and now one at the border to get to A17 as boarding was just starting.
3 older and bigger people were also supposed to be on this flight I don't imagine I'll see them in the next 10 min.

UA 914 1 July CDG-IAD Squawk 7700, divert to LHR?
763 left CDG 30 min late, just past UK declared emergency, turned around and appears to be heading for London. Any news as to why?
Edit: UA flight status page confirms flight is diverting to LHR, ETA 13:24 local.

is this the same 763 that stopped in goose bay?
From flight aware it looks like they descended about 15,000 feet in three minutes, so probably a pressurization issue

Clearly the excuse for the BFS diversion not going to LHR, that UA could not obtain a landing slot, was not "the whole truth".
